Mike's professional involvement in the industry commenced as the Executive Director of NSW Rugby Union whereby organising the the South Pacific Championship matches (pre Super 12, 14 & 15), the NSW leg of the Lions Tour 1989 and the International Sevens Tournament. In 1992 Libby and Mike acquired Venue Marketing Service in which I have been involved in a ownership role ever since.

VMS provides venue search, online registration & conference logistics to government, corporate and association clients. The business was established in 1988 and until recently traded as Venue Marketing Service. |

Clubg is a VMS partner program dedicated to providing conference services specifically designed for the government sector. |

CCS is responsible for researching and developing the use of IT solutions for the conference market including the online registration system RegoDirect which VMS uses. It will also be available to other third party uses. CCs is also investing in the development of "Hybrid Conferencing" whereby the onsite content of a conference is streamed live to "virtual" delegates thus extending the impact and economics contained in holding a conference. |
